The City of Covington would like to announce that Mr. Jay Crowder will be the City of Covington’s Building Official and Zoning Administrator. Mr. Crowder is originally from the City of Covington but has moved out of the area to only find himself returning to the city. He has been in the Residential and Commercial Construction field for 22 years and has been operating his own business with his contractor’s license for approximately 4 years. Mr. Crowder is an avid animal lover and enjoys camping and spending time with his family as well as watching baseball and college football. Mr. Crowder believes that “Covington is moving in the right direction and feels that he would like to be engaged with bringing it back to a thriving and attractive community!”
