The City of Covington would like to make our citizens and downtown business owners aware that Main Street and parts of the surrounding streets will be blocked off on Friday, May 5, 2023. The street will be blocked off and impassible beginning at 12:00 p.m. on May 5th. This will be in preparation for the Old Town Covington Event – “Cinco De Mayo Celebration” that will be taking place that afternoon. The Street Closure will take place from the Main & Court Street intersection to the former Gordmans parking lot. Court Street to Locust Street and Maple from the alley at Gordmans to Locust. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please make arrangements, and have your cars removed by 12:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.
