The City of Covington Parks and Recreation is announcing the Santa Run 5K. The event will be held on Sunday, November 28 at 2:00 pm at the Jackson River Sports Complex. You may pre-register by calling (540) 965-6360 or completing the form below. Registrations received after November 11 are not guaranteed a t-shirt and you may register the day of the event starting at 1:00 pm. Those wishing to walk instead of run may register for the Penguin Shuffle (which is a 5K) and for grades 1st thru 5th we have the Gingerbread Sprint. We are also excited to be hosting the “Tiny Tim Trot” this will be open to all of those who experience a physical challenge we will also allow runners to be assisted in this race. Take a break from shopping and decorating, grab your tennis shoes and join us to work off some of that turkey and pumpkin pie. Concessions will be available. The cost is $10.00 for the 5K and $5.00 for the Gingerbread Sprint. For more information please call 540-965-6360.
