All City of Covington offices will be closed on Monday, October 9, 2023, in observance of Columbus Day. Refuse collection for Monday, October 9, 2023, will be collected on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, with Tuesday’s run. The Peter’s Mountain Landfill and State Offices (Commissioner of Revenue, Treasurer, and Registrar) will also be closed. Due to computer upgrades, the Commissioner of Revenue, Treasurer, and Central Accounting Offices will remain closed on October 10, 2023. All other offices not affected by the computer upgrades will reopen on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
