The City of Covington would like to make our citizens and downtown business owners aware of the multiple downtown street and parking area closures that will take place beginning on Thursday, June 1st, 2023. The streets and parking lots will be blocked off and impassible beginning at 4:00 p.m. on June 1st and will remain closed until Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. This will be for the Old Town Covington Event – “Cork & Pork Festival” that will be taking place throughout the weekend. The Streets that will be affected by the closure will be the following:

From Maple & Main Intersection to the Wells Fargo Parking Lot Entrance
Maple Avenue
From Locust Street & Maple Intersection to Maple & Main Intersection
Court Street
From Court Street & Main Intersection to Locust Street & Court Intersection
Locust Street
From Locust Street & Maple Ave. Intersection to Locust Street & Court Intersection

Parking Lots
Mid-City Mall Parking Lot
City Hall Parking Lot

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please make arrangements, and have your cars removed by 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Participants of the event are encouraged to park in the designated public parking areas located around the downtown area.
