The City of Covington’s Chief of Police will be delivering a prepared statement to the public on the events that took place yesterday March 14, 2022. This HAS CHANGED as it will now take place at Covington City Hall at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon. There will be a procession that will leave the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke and will head to the Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge. If the public would like to pay their respect and line the streets, the procession should arrive in Clifton Forge around 2:45 – 3:00 p.m.
