The City of Covington and Olde Town Covington would like to make citizens, businesses, and other organizations aware that Hometown Halloween will take place on Friday, October 27 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Main Street. If you would like to participate or have any questions, please email Cary Linkswiler at cary.linkswiler@gmail.com or Thomas Smals at tsmals@covington.va.us. There will be a lot of kid-friendly activities taking place throughout Main Street, which include Photos, Dancing, a Costume Contest, and Trick-or-Treating.

Main Street and parts of the surrounding streets will be blocked off on Friday, October 27, 2023. Main Street will be blocked off and impassible beginning at 12:00 p.m. on October 27th. This will be in preparation for the Hometown Halloween Event that will be taking place. The Street Closure will take place from the Wells Fargo parking lot to the former Gordman’s parking lot. Court Street to Locust Street and Maple from the alley at Gordmans to Locust. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please make arrangements, and have your cars removed by 12:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.
