The City of Covington would like to make our citizens and downtown business owners aware
that Main Street and parts of the surrounding streets will be blocked off on Saturday, December
2, 2023. The street will be blocked off and impassible beginning at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
This will be in preparation for the Olde Town Covington Event – “The Covington Christmas
Parade”- that will take place that evening at 5:00 p.m. The Street Closure will take place from
Riverside Street to Short Street, Down W. Main Street, Turn left onto Maple Avenue, and will
end on Hawthorne Street. The 400 Block of W. Main in front of 410 on Main will be blocked
and impassible beginning at 6:00 a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but
please make arrangements, and have your cars removed by 3:00 p.m. Saturday for Main Street
and by 5:00 a.m. for the 400 Block of W. Main.
