The City of Covington would like to inform our citizens and downtown business owners that Main Street and parts of the surrounding streets will be blocked off in conjunction with the Down on Main Street Event being held on Saturday, August 19th from 3:00 p.m. – 9:30 pm

Beginning at 11:00 a.m. the 300 block of Main Street from the intersection of Court & Main to the intersection of Main & Maple will be impassable. Main Street from the entrance of the former Gordman’s building parking lot to the former Wells Fargo parking lot will be impassable. Other streets that will be blocked at this time are Maple Street from the intersection of Locust to Main Street and Court Street from Main Street to Locust Street. All streets will remain closed until 11:00 p.m.
