The City of Covington would like to update our citizens and announce that our Maple Avenue Phase III Streetscape Project will begin Monday January 9, 2023. The initial phase will start at the intersection of Main and Maple and go to the alley that serves our Main Street Businesses. We will then proceed from the alley to the intersection of Maple and Riverside and upon completion move from there to the river. This Streetscape Project will provide new infrastructure (waterline upgrades), new sidewalks, new streetlamps, drainage improvements and paving.

We apologize for the project inconveniences but look forward to completion and complimenting the quality work done on our Phase I and Phase II Maple Avenue Projects. There will be times when vehicular and pedestrian traffic will not be permitted. We expect the project to last approximately 8 months.
