The City of Covington would like to update our citizens on our Phase II Maple Avenue Project. Paving has recently been completed and street painting (parking spaces) will be done this Saturday, May 22nd. One service provider needs to relocate their overhead lines and once this is complete the remaining poles will be removed, trees planted, and concrete work completed. We are excited about the completion of the Maple Avenue Phase II and how it compliments our Maple Avenue Phase I project. The tentative completion date is around the end of June, weather depending. We appreciate our downtown business district and citizens for their patience with the challenges we have faced during this project. We look forward to developing our Phase III Maple Avenue project plans.
