The Council for the City of Covington will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. to act on the following zoning applications:

Rezoning request of Christopher Pyle, from R-2 to R-3.  The lots are described as 124 N. Lexington Avenue, lot 10, 11, 12, and 13 BK 10 CIC, Tax Map #13—10—10-.

Rezoning request of Terri Jones Mathews, from R-3 to C-2.  The lots are described as 208 E. Beech Street, lot 18 BK 35 CIC, Tax Map # 18—135—18–.

Rezoning request of Garten Development, LLC., from C-1 to C-3.  The lots are described as 263 W. Main Street, lots 86 and 87 Old Town Pt., Tax Map #10—2—86C—.

The applications, proposed ordinances, and other information regarding this zoning ordinance may be viewed at the office of the Zoning Administrator at City Hall, 333 W. Locust St. Covington, VA from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his/her views with respect to the above requests may appear before, and be heard by, the City Council during the Public Hearing in the City Council Chambers, Covington City Hall, on the above stated time and date.
