The City of Covington would like to make our citizens and business owners aware the City of Covington Waste Water Treatment Plant has begun undergoing a series of improvements and upgrades. The 8.3 million dollar project will improve our facility and equipment to better serve the citizens of the City and will be an ongoing process for the next year. This is a legally required project by the Department of Environmental Quality and those in the surrounding areas should expect an increase in deliveries to our facility as the construction occurs and materials are delivered during which will typically be during normal business hours.
