Main Street, Short Street, and Lexington Avenue Road Closures

The City of Covington would like to make citizens and businesses aware that Short, Main Street, Street, and Lexington Avenue will be closed on October 5, 2023. This will be in respect to the Alleghany High School Homecoming Parade. These streets will be closed beginning at 4:00 p.m. in order to prepare for the parade route. The parade will begin at 7:00 p.m. and start at the Covington Farmers Market and travel down Short Street to Main Street then turn onto Lexington Avenue to turn onto Oak Street, ending at Casey Field for the Pep Rally & Bon Fire.
