Water Pipe Material Survey

The City of Covington needs your help to document the material of your water service line from the water meter to just inside your house or business. We are collecting this important information to complete the Town’s EPA-mandated lead service line inventory map. We will send out a mailer to residents in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout, fill it out, and return.

Flood Resilience Plan

The City of Covington is currently in the process of developing its Flood Resilience Plan. This Plan, funded by the Commonwealth of Virginia's Community Flood Preparedness Fund, will serve as the city's strategy focusing on upgrading, modifying, and installing new stormwater and flood control practices in strategic locations within the City. This effort follows up on the Drainage Study, which assessed stormwater infrastructure throughout the City to identify potential projects that can be implemented to reduce stormwater flooding risk. This Study can be accessed through the below link.
